My favorite cardio/lower body fitness class is Group Blast which is under the Mossa fitness umbrella. I took it regularly at Spiece Fitness and then at Catalyst when they added it.  Due to poor attendance, the owner cancelled the class at Catalyst and I was without it.  We just couldn’t get the Catalyst members to understand how good the class would be for them if they attended weekly.

Time moved on and I only did Zumba for cardio with a little Martial Arts sparring. Occasionally, I cycled on my own around the neighborhood on my retro bike my brother built for me.   I can’t remember when my last class was held but it may have been a year ago.  My stamina isn’t where it used to be and I’m getting pudgy around my stomach.

It was time to find the Group Blast in my area so I started with my previous gym, The Culture which used to be Spiece Fitness. They don’t have Group Blast so I started with another gym.  OPS has some of the former Spiece Group Fitness instructors and the one whe did blast on Saturdays at Speice does it at OPS. Sadly, OPS doesn’t accept drop-ins just for classes and that’s all I need at OPS.  I don’t want to pay for a membership.

Milinda from Catalyst suggested the Mossa on-demand plan which costs $15.00 and I could stream any class I think on any device.  That’s an option and they have a 14-day trial.   Live classes are much better I think than on-line ones.  I’ve taken hundreds of live Group Blast classes and the energy and instructors help me get through the classes.

If another gym nearby offered Blast as a drop-in option I would try it out.  Do you take Group Blast now? Any suggestions
