A month ago I started checking the many exercise machines at Catalyst Fitness. I inspect pulleys, chains, seats, and fastener hardware for damage. Additionally, the nuts and bolts that hold the machines together are checked and tightened – there are a lot of them! I started on the ground floor in the circuit room (where most machines are made by Life Fitness). Typically, I do one or two machines a day and so far I have done around 20 machines with many more to do.
Monday I was doing one of the Life Fitness leg machines and found a loose bolt. It was toward the bottom of the machine. I got it tightened and now it won’t fall out in the future. Most of hardware I checked was tight which is a good situation. I have just two machines to go to have this room complete and I can move to the main weight room.
