It’s a chore buying food in the grocery store because of the additives manufacturers put in.  If the product has a label, I read it to learn what’s in it. At one point last year I thought I found an ice cream that had healthy ingredients.  I ate it for a month and then read the label again to find some questionable ingredients missed the first time. I stopped eating it and kept searching for a healthy ice creme.  The one I eat now has less ingredients than the bad ones – things like aspartame, maladextran,  corn syrup and others.  found one The food industry is always trying to fool us by changing names of ingredients when people figure out a bad one.

My general rule is to find products with healthy ingredients and make note of them.  Then keep monitoring these products for any changes or additions.
