When I was in Junior High School my Mom made a duffle bag for me. It was used to carry my gym clothes back and forth between home and school. I kept it all these years and remarkably I’ve been using it for the last 12 years as a dirty clothes bag at my gym. It’s amazing it’s still together and nothing torn on it after 45 years. I don’t know if other people use a duffle bag to keep their dirty clothes away from the clean ones, but it’s a great system for me. When I leave the gym I have my gym bag with the clean clothes and the duffle bag with the dirty ones.
My Mom doesn’t remember sewing it because she made many things for all of us kids and it was a long time ago. It’s just a simple duffle bag and I think of my Mom every time I use it. Thanks, Mom.
