I’ve been working at Catalyst Fitness for a few months and it’s been fun talking to the members and sharing our perks with them.  One of the things I also do is put away weights, cable attachments and other equipment in all the rooms.  This includes unloading the weight plates left on bars and machines.

One night last week the red hack squat machine had ten 45-lb plates left on it after a member used it.  I unloaded it after asking members in the room if they were using it and they were not.  My hands are definitely getting stronger after moving these plates throughout the time I’m working.  If you can, put your weights away because I’m not always there to do it.  The next member to use the machine may be too weak to lift ten 45-lb plates off a bar or machine.
