For someone my age I stay pretty active as evidenced by my workouts. On Saturdays it’s working out with others. Yesterday It started with 0500 Jiu-Jitsu at Basches with three other guys. Jiu-Jitsu works the entire body and takes place on a mat. I didn’t take any pictures this time.
My next stop was Catalyst Fitness where I arrive around 0645 for stretching and foam-rolling the lower body before my group classes. Group Core was first with Grace instructing at 0730. Next was Group Blast at 0800 which is a leg and cardio workout mainly. Grace also taught this one.
Next Denise and I did some punching drills with gloves and then I held mits for her to punch in the turf room for maybe 30 minutes. We both love martial arts so it’s fun to work with each other and the heavybag.
My last class was Zumba in the upstairs classroom where Katie leads us. It starts at 10. This is a fun class but the hardest one for me because the dance moves can be complicated and quick. As I attend more classes it should get easier. By now my body is sore from all this activity and it’s time to go home and rest.
