For the last 10 years or so I’ve tried to eat differently to stay lean and healthy.  Avoiding processed food can be tough in our country and I have a strategy that is helping. One of the things I keep in my refrigerator at home and in my lunch pail in my car is raw vegetables and fruits. I try to eat a variety of them and two vegetables have become my main ones.

For some reason I now really like the taste of raw carrots and celery more than when I was younger. Maybe it’s because I have fewer toxins in my body or parasites than I used to have.  I just buy bags of them at grocery stores and cut them up into small sticks for the car or eat them whole at home.
