Wednesdays I do strength and conditioning exercises for my back and today will be my second “back” day at Catalyst Fitness in Fort Wayne. I wrote this article on June 8, 2022 and I found an interesting back machine that was new to me. It was made by a company called Hoist which is also new to me. I’m accustomed to seeing equipment by the Precor, Hammer Strength, Nautilus and Bodymasters companies, but not Hoist.
I’ve been looking for different exercise machines than what I’ve been using at Spiece Fitness to hit my muscles in different ways. This back machine is of the iso type where your two arms and back work independently of each other. Additonally, the seat and your body lifts as you pull back. This gives you a different feel and I seem to wok more at the end of the movement. Spiece has an iso back machine but the seat doesn’t raise up as you pull back.
This Hoist back machine will be used on back day as I continue my fitness journey at my new gym. Have you used this machine at your gym before?
