I know many members at my gym and one of them was talking to me a few years ago.  He was always interested in my exercises and I would show him what I was doing.  This time he asked me about Martial Arts.  “If youwas attacked and only had one move what would it be?”  I replied the kick because your leg reaches farther than your arm and it’s more powerful.  The kick would also be a surprise to most attackers who are probably accustomed to fighting with fists only.

The negative thing about fighting with kicks is they take more energy than punches and I get winded quicker when I kick more in martial arts.
